DMAIC
DMAIC is a Six Sigma tool that is especially used for product and process improvement. It is the abbreviation of Design, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control that
represent different stages of the product improvement project. The Define phase covers project setup with the definition of
the project
goals and customer deliverables. In the Measure phase the performance of the current process is determined, which is
followed by the Analysis phase in which root causes of defects are determined. In the Improve phase defects are eliminated from the process and the Control phase generates means to control the future process performance.
