DMADV

DMADV is a Six Sigma tool that is especially used for product development. It is the abbreviation of Define, Measure, Analyse, Design, Verify that represent different stages of product development. The Define phase covers project setup with the definition of the project goals and customer deliverables. In the Measure phase the customer needs and specifications are determined, which is followed by the Analysis of process options to meet the customer needs. In the Design phase the process is detailed out, which is then Verified with respect to design performance and the ability to meet the customer needs.
